To acquaint the students of class II of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh with the importance and benefits of plants, an activity, ‘Learning about Useful Plants’ was conducted during the online class. The students were shown real plants and were told about the different parts and their uses. A research work was assigned to the students wherein they acted as plant detectives and observed four plants of their choice and wrote about their importance and uses. Children thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience of learning about the different plants and their innumerable uses.
