Students of classes III-VIII of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, participated Virtual Summer Camp, from May 31, 2021 to June 4, 2021.
The online summer camp included engaging activities covering fitness activities like Yoga and, Zumba, contemporary dance, colourful and creative paper craft, essentials of reading and story telling ,a session on manners and etiquettes and an informative session conducted on recycling waste by Green Dream Foundation in association with Recykal and Municipal Corporation Chandigarh & Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee, where the students were educated about importance of recycling for saving the environment and how segregation of waste is the first step towards it.
Around 300 students participated in this Virtual Camp, expressing and exploring themselves. Whether it was burning calories in Zumba class or expressing emotions in Story Telling session or channelizing their inner Picasso, students had a blast. Doing these tasks helped them in attaining a sense of great pride and accomplishment boosting their confidence.
All the guests were really accomplished in their areas of expertise and it made the camp an absolutely wonderful experience for the kids.
