Every year ‘Teacher’s Day’ is celebrated with great pomp and show in all schools to honour and celebrate teachers for the contributions they make in the lives of their students.
The Covid-19 pandemic had significantly added to the challenges already faced throughout the world. However, as challenging as it may be, the teaching staff of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh chose to accept it day in and day out.
This year, in view of the current situation, the ‘Teacher’s Day Celebration’ took place online wherein the students of Pre-primary wing turned into little chefs as they participated in the ‘Cooking without Fire Activity’ and made sumptuous food items under the guidance of their teachers.
With the support from parents, the students also paid special tributes by sending appreciation messages/slogans through whatsapp to their teachers.
The active participation of the students made the day extra special for their teachers as they were recognised and honoured for the vital role they play.
