Patriotism or national pride is the feeling of love, devotion and a sense of attachment to one’s own country. With the mission to root the young Dipsites to the rich Indian heritage and to celebrate the feeling of nationalism and patriotism Team DPS, Chandigarh organized the second segment of the Early Learning Series programme – PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN(A Rhyme / Poetry Recitation Activity) for the students on August 14,2020 during the online class.
To mark the spirit of freedom and love for the nation, the tiny tots of classes Nursery and Prep enjoyed reciting rhymes and singing patriotic songs. Children of classes I and II recited poems with much fervor and gaiety. The children celebrated the day by dressing up in their best ethnic attires and used innovative props also. The session ended with children learning the historical significance of Independence Day.
