‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’, keeping this famous proverb in mind a series of activities were organised under the ‘Swacchata Pakhwada Programme’. The main aim of the programme was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and its benefits. Under this programme, the sanitary facilities of the school were regularly monitored. Children participated in a cleanliness drive reverberating the mission of the programme. The students took a pledge to clear their school, home and the surroundings and also planted saplings. The teachers made the students aware about the different ways of reusing waste and also gave them handy tips to maintain personal hygiene. The drive was quite inspiring and motivating as the students also became aware about the dignity of labour.
