The students of Grade V at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, participated in the EcoTales Live – Storytelling Competition on 23rd April 2025, in celebration of Earth Day. The event aimed to nurture creativity while raising awareness about environmental issues among young learners. Divided into two rounds, the competition featured compelling eco-themed stories that showcased the students’ ability to combine imagination with messages of sustainability, conservation, and the importance of protecting the planet.
Using voice modulation, gestures, and props, the students captivated their audience, presenting narratives that effectively highlighted pressing environmental challenges like climate change and wildlife conservation. Their storytelling not only entertained but also conveyed powerful messages about the need for a sustainable future.
The competition was a resounding success, leaving everyone in the audience inspired by the students’ creativity and dedication. EcoTales Live truly demonstrated the power of storytelling in fostering environmental responsibility among the next generation.
