Class VIII students recently enjoyed an exciting trip in January to Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Coorg.
In Bengaluru, we visited the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, known for its beautiful greenery and rare plants, and the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, which provided engaging, hands-on learning experiences in science and technology.
In Mysuru, the iconic Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hills offered stunning views and a spiritual atmosphere. We also admired the grandeur of the Mysore Palace and explored the impressive Gothic architecture of St. Philomena’s Church.
In Coorg, we marvelled at the serene Abbey Falls and the scenic views at Raja’s Seat, a famous sunset point. A visit to a coffee plantation taught us about coffee cultivation, while the Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery) mesmerized us with its peace and intricate Tibetan art. A brief shopping break added to the fun, with students buying souvenirs like Mysore silk and Coorg spices.
The trip was a perfect blend of education, culture, and fun, creating unforgettable memories for everyone.
