Saluting the nation and its freedom fighters on its 78th Independence Day, the students of the Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The students participated in the second segment of the Early Learning Series, ‘Proud to Be An Indian’. The children dressed up as freedom fighters and spoke about their contribution to India’s Independence, sang Patriotic songs and also spoke about various states, festivals and famous personalities of the country. Parents were invited to witness the spirited performances, making the celebration a memorable tribute to the nation. The day ended on a high note with children filled with patriotism and pride for the Nation.
