Classes VI-VIII organised ‘Skill Saturday’

The only skill that will be important in the 21st century is the skill of learning new skills.”
Students of classes 6 to 8 enjoyed yet another Skill Saturday on 6th July 2024.
The day was divided into different sessions – Yoga, Storytelling using Finger Puppets, Organising Retail, Poster Making On Balance between Technology and Nature as a part of the Health and Wellness Programme and Vocabulary Building.
To start the day, a Yoga session was conducted for the children wherein they meditated and performed different asanas. Importance of Yoga and Meditation was also explained to the students.

As a part of Skill Saturday Activity of Organising Retail, the students were tasked with creating innovative ad campaigns for a product of their choice. This advertising activity demonstrated the importance of understanding target audiences and crafting compelling messages. Students learned to develop effective, collaborative advertising strategies.
At the end of the session, Take Home Vocabulary’ activity was conducted. Students learnt new words in English, along with their meanings and usage. Overall, the second Skill Saturday was a great success too.
