Neh Singla and Paras Gupta of Class 10 of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, have been selected for Young Scientist Programme Yuvika 2023 by ISRO and will be attending two weeks residential programme at NRSC Hyderabad from May 15 to May 26,2023.
A proud moment indeed for the entire DPS Fraternity. Principal Ms Reema Dewan congratulated the parents and the students for their achievement and encouraged them to pursue the programme with enthusiasm. She said that the children will surely be a source of inspiration for other students.
Indian Space Research Organisation has organised this special program for school children called YOUNG SCIENTIST PROGRAM, YUVIKA 2023 to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger students. The program is aimed at creating awareness about the amazing trends in Science and Technology amongst the youngsters and CATCH THEM YOUNG.
This program is also expected to encourage most students to pursue in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based research/ career. The residential program is of two weeks’ duration during summer holidays (May 15 to 26, 2023) and the schedule will include invited talks, experience sharing by eminent scientists’ experiential demonstration, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts practical and feedback sessions.
