The students of Class I of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh were made aware about different festivals and the importance of celebrating these festivals during their General Awareness class. They were shown presentations and videos to make them understand how festivals help in incorporating the values of brotherhood, unity and love among people. To further enhance their knowledge, a public speaking activity ‘My Favourite Festival’ was conducted wherein the students spoke a few lines about their favourite festival. This activity helped the students in enriching their knowledge about different festivals as well as enhanced their speaking skills.
