Transport system is a system in which people and goods move from one place to another and it is referred to as the lifeline of a country. The students of class I of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh were apprised about the importance of transportation and different means of transport during their General Awareness class. They were shown presentations and videos to make them understand why transportation is required and what are the different means of transport. To further enhance their knowledge a ‘collage making activity’ on different means of transport was conducted wherein they segregated and pasted the pictures of vehicles that move on land, air and water. The children thoroughly enjoyed the hands on experience of learning about different means of transport.
