On July 21st, 2022, DPS Chandigarh, hosted EducationUSA’s Annual Roadshow “Chalo America”. The session was conducted by United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) which organizes and administers the prestigious Fulbright fellowships aiming at making accurate and relevant information accessible to Indian students. The session was held in the school auditorium with an audience of 400 students from the 11th and 12th grades. It brought together advisers from 15 accredited and reputed U.S. Universities. The extended knowledge-sharing sessions aimed at helping all aspiring students get more clarity about their choice of courses available in universities abroad and guiding them in their University application process.
The insightful session concluded with a question-and-answer session wherein the queries by the students were resolved. The students got a chance to interact with the representatives that gave them clarity on what they should watch out for. Students gained from a good insight of the campus life, details of their university like the admission process, courses offered, scholarship programmes such as fees, and contact details.
The Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan said that such sessions were helpful as the school aims at encouraging students to go beyond popular choices and identify their strengths and compatibility when selecting colleges. The school curriculum focuses on real-world learning that ensures the best college placements for the students.
