Baisakhi, the festival of harvest was celebrated with a lot of joy and enthusiasm by the Pre-primary wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. The children were shown a presentation and various activities like dhol making using paper tearing and kite making were conducted to make the young ones learn about the significance of this festival. The children were told that on this day people wear new clothes, distribute sweets and visit Gurudwaras to offer prayers. They were further told the meaning and importance of harvesting. The children were delighted to express themselves through this enriching experience.
