To remember the founder of Sikhism and the first Guru of Sikh religion, Gurupurab was celebrated by the students of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh with great fervour and devotion. The students were apprised of the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It was a serene and pious atmosphere as the students recited the ‘Mool Mantar’ and sang holy shabads. A powerpoint presentation based on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was shown to the students. They were made aware how Guru Nanak Dev Ji through his bani taught the importance and need of taking care of the environment. They were also motivated to incorporate the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their lives.
