The Annual Prize distribution of the students of Class VIII Session 2020-21 (presently in Class IX) of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh was held on 28th August 2021 on the virtual platform. The students of each section presented a spectacular show based on the theme “Parivartan”.
The programme commenced with the address of the Principal, Mrs Reema Dewan. In her address, Principal Ma’am talked about both the challenges and the opportunities brought forth by these unprecedented times. She emphasised that the pandemic has brought about creativity and innovation in our education system. She hoped and expected that by next academic session things would normalize.
She also appreciated and highlighted the achievements of the students of Class X and XII 2020-21.
The class show aptly titled ‘Parivartan’ put up by the students was a visual treat. Each class through their acts showed why we need to change to survive. Changes in the domains of media, education and environment were creatively depicted by the students. The virtual class show of Class 9 was appreciated by the parents who lauded the efforts of school to channelise the creativity and energy of home bound children. The bright faces of the students and their enthusiasm captivated the attention of everyone who saw the show.
