Delhi Public School, Chandigarh in consonance with CBSE circular, observed the 26th ‘National Reading Day’ on June 19, 2021 and a month long ‘National Reading Month’ celebration which began from June 19, 2021 to July 18, 2021 in memory of Late P.N. Panicker, Father of the Library Movement.
The school library department designed different online reading activities for all the students such as Digital Reading Pledge, Informative Session on P.N. Panicker, Essay Writing and Book Face Challenge. Students thoroughly enjoyed the enriching and fun-filled activities. Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan stressed the importance of reading judiciously selected books and to contribute to nation building.
