Adopting a new rational and adapting to a new normal, DPS, Chandigarh redefined the meaning of patriotism in the challenging times of the pandemic.
Recreating the vigor and vitality of this day on the virtual platform, the event opened with a zealous song: “Aatmanirbhar Hum” giving an apt “Jhanki Hindustan Ki”. It was followed by a foot taping dance that was an earnest tribute to our great nation. The Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan hoisted the flag and congratulated the DPS fraternity.
Undeterred by Covid, our Principal urged the students and parents not to let the tough times dampen their spirit but rather adapt to the new ways to learn, earn and return. She emphasized the need to uphold the core values of democracy and humaneness .She stressed that the best way to observe patriotism this year is by cultivating the health/ hygiene and life of the community. ‘Masked’ equality is the only way to achieve freedom from the pandemic.
