The students of Class III, Delhi Public School Chandigarh, presented a virtual show ‘Umeed-A Ray of Hope’ on 1st August 2020, with great enthusiasm.
Around 250 students zealously participated in the show on an online platform taking it as an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. Showcasing the theme that it is hope that will keep us alive and kicking in this pandemic, the students presented an array of songs, dances and skit. Through their scintillating performances, the young artists also created awareness about the present situation and its impact on a student’s life. ‘Umeed- a ray of hope’ conveyed to all that determination and optimism can recreate the reality and enable us to live each moment to the fullest.
The parents were enthralled by the pulsating performances which were not only entertaining but also informative.
The Principal, Mrs Reema Dewan, lauded the performances and congratulated the students for their active participation. She advised the students to exercise caution in the pandemic and suggested to utilize this time to explore new ideas, improve relations and adapt to the new scenario.
The show spread smiles and cheered all hearts.
