“You must be the change you wish to see in the world”
Once said by Mahatma Gandhi, “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”.
The children of Delhi Public School Chandigarh, took pride to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of our beloved father of the nation.
Various modules on the life of Gandhi ji based on his Non- Violence Movement in India, were shown and explained to the children of the pre- primary wing. The entire Pre- Primary wing was echoing with the bhajan “Raghu Pati Raghav” along with the all faith prayer. Few children who were inspired by the story of Gandhi ji, came dressed in his attire and presented themselves in front of their classmates. A cleanliness drive was undertaken by the students who spread the awareness of ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’ with their slogans across the school. The young minds not only understood the importance of non- violence but also took initiative in cleaning their school and their home. Way to go Dipsites!!!
