Taking yet another step towards cleanliness, students of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, with their effort continued to take Swacchh Bharat Abhiyaan. A cleanliness drive aimed to cover 4,041 statutory cities and towns all over India in order to clean the streets, roads and other infrastructure ,creating user friendly environment. Students of Classes VII to X participated in the mission .The various activities undertaken were :
Class 7 made beautiful vases, pen holders, planters and lamps creating awareness in their own way about Best Out of Waste.
Class 8 undertook the activity of Poster Making showing the innovative ways of incorporating the 3R’s.(Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
Class 9 tried to create awareness by the Slogan Writing Activity on the 3R’s.
Class 10 engaged themselves in the Paper Bag Making Activity using Jute material (used)and paper.
The School Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan applauded the students’ consistent effort to bring about the desired results of the Swacchh Bharat Abhiyaan and appealed to the students to take this mission to every home-rural and urban.
