The students of class seven of Delhi Public School attended a session by an award- winning Chandigarh based author Preeti Singh. The children in this session were encouraged to read good books to enhance their vocabulary and their imagination. She urged the children to use the dictionary. She motivated the children to pen down their thoughts whenever they felt overwhelmed. During the interaction the students asked many questions and the ones who asked the five best questions were given prizes. The Principal, Ms Reema Dewan appreciated the session and emphasized the need to inculcate good reading habits among the children at a young age for all round development of the children’s personality.
