For inculcating greater awareness on vigilance in public life, and in our endeavour to promote transparency, probity and integrity in public life to encourage the fight against corruption, DPS Chandigarh organized various activities during the Vigilance Awareness Week -2016.
CLASSES VI-VIII: Students of Classes VI, VII and VIII participated in ‘Slogan Writing” on the topic “Public Eradicating Corruption”. This event saw 100% participation. Young minds worked out catchy slogans which showed their sensitivity towards the topic.
CLASSES IX-X: An Elocution activity was conducted for Class IX-X students on the topic “Promoting Integrity Ensures the Prosperity of Nation.” This activity served as a platform to sensitize and empower students who play an important role in promoting integrity. The students enthusiastically participated and came up with speeches and poems echoing the theme.
CLASSES XI-XII: Debate and essay writing competitions were held for classes XI-XII. While some sections organized debate for and against the topic: “E-Governance As An Effective Tool To Curb Corruption”, others wrote essays on the above topic. Students participated enthusiastically in the activities and initiated out of box ideas for future governance sans corruption.
