Storytelling is a unique human skill shared between people and is one of the oldest art forms. To build confidence, enhance speaking skills and stimulate one’s imagination, a storytelling competition was organised for the students of class 5 at DPS Chandigarh.
The young, enthusiastic storytellers armed with their props came forth with wonderful tales. While some stories gave the audience food for thought, some reinforced moral values and some had the audience in splits.
The stories were adjudged on the basis of expression, confidence, diction and presentation skills of the children. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
