DPS Chandigarh was abuzz with activities from 18th to 22nd April as students of Pre Primary Wing celebrated “Green Week”.
Nursery hosted a gamut of activities like green drink making, germination, nature walk, etc. Special talks were held to make them aware of their responsibilities towards nature and environment. Prep students participated in ecofriendly activities like vegetable printing and placing peas in the pod. Classes I and II organised an awareness campaign to sensitise students. An activity using glyphs was done where students learnt Do’s and Don’ts to save planet Earth. Children relished making green sandwiches also.
Students were given badges and they promised to do their bit to save Earth.
