The children of class V enjoyed their school trip on 27th November to Kikar Lodge, a resort in village Kangar. This place is nestled in the Shivalik foothills and is spread over 1800 acres of forest. As per the schedule, the excited children started the journey at around 7:20 am and stopped for breakfast at Haveli near Rupnagar . After a small drive through the fields, catching a glimpse of birds around and enjoying the scenic beauty of nature, the children entered the lodge. Children were divided into small groups and taken for trekking. They enjoyed activities like tug-of-war, badminton ,cricket , football and paint-ball . They had buffet lunch at the resort followed by a DJ party. Later the children returned to school with memories to cherish for a long time.
