It is a matter of great pride that DPS Chandigarh bagged the First Prize in the National Final Round of Quiz on Germany organized by DPS Society in association with Max Mueller Bhawan, New Delhi. The team comprised of Gurtej Singh Sohi and Shreyam of Class IX. The proud winners were awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 30,000/-. The quiz aimed to create interest in students and schools for German people, language and culture.
Earlier seven Zonal Rounds were held in the months of December, 2010 and January 2011 reaching out to innumerable schools across the country. DPS Chandigarh beat 12 other teams in the Zonal Round held at DPS Chandigarh and qualified for the finals held at DPS Noida.
