Keeping alive the true spirit of DPS of celebrating all festivals and observing important days, the students and staff of Delhi Public School Chandigarh celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti and the festival of Id with great reverence and fervour. A Special Assembly was held on this occasion. The celebrations began with the recital of the shabad, ‘Aades tisse aades’. This was followed by a speech on how Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings have shown us the right path. The children were also explained the significance of the festival of Id-ul-Zuha.
