Delhi Public School Chandigarh wore a festive look as the students and staff celebrated the Festival of Lights, Diwali. A Special Assembly was held on the occasion. The celebrations began with a prayer to the almighty. The significance of the day was brought out in a speech and the students were asked to refrain from bursting crackers. The highlight of the programme was a demonstration of disposing of tetra packs for recycling thereby reinforcing the use of 3Rs i.e. reduce, reuse and recycle.
Various activities and competitions such as Diya Making, Thali Decoration, Toran Making, Diwali Card Making and Lantern Making were organized in the Primary Wing.
