To celebrate the season of Monsoon, the Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated Water Week with great enthusiasm. Several activities such as Rain Walk, Paper Boat Making and Recitation Competition were organized for the children of Class Nursery.
‘Rain-walk’ was a very enriching experience for the young ones. Wearing rain coats and carrying umbrellas, they yelled in delight as they splashed their tiny feet in puddles of water. Watching little earthworms and snails wriggling out was another enjoyable and learning experience for them. Dressed in thematic attire, the children sang songs and rhymes stressing the need to conserve water.
