Students of the Interact Club of DPS Chandigarh gathered at the Sukhna Lake for a silent demonstration to increase awareness about ‘Female Foeticide’ under the project, ‘Hamari Beti’.
The project initiated in School by the Principal, DPS Chandigarh, Ms. Reema Dewan received whole-hearted support from Rotary Club, Chandigarh and Deptt. of Health and Family Welfare, UT Chandigarh.
The purpose of the March was to target the various sections of the society about this growing social vice. A large number of students and teachers gathered at the lake holding banners and placards.
