It is a matter of great pride that students of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh were selected to participate in ‘Tribal Art and Culture – Learn To Live Together Camp’ organized by Indian Council for Child Welfare at Bal Bhawan, Silvasa held from 23rd to 26th April, 2010.
More than 20 teams from all over the country attended the camp. The team from DPS Chandigarh represented the North Zone Bal Bhawan. Various activities such as Tie and Dye, Best Out of Waste, Making Wooden Toys, Designing Worli Paintings, Candle Making, Fabric Painting and Vegetable Printing were incorporated in the camp. Various cultural activities were also organized for the students. The dance performance by our team won accolades and received great appreciation from the audience.
