Republic Day celebrations were held in Delhi Public School, Chandigarh with great fervour. The celebrations began with the unfurling of the Tricolour with the National Anthem being played in the background. The spirit of nationalism was brought alive with the rendition of patriotic songs by the school choir and the staff. The students also presented a musical skit depicting the struggle for freedom. The highlight of the day was a speech by the School Vice Head Boy who emphasized the role of today’s youth in enabling India to scale greater heights.
