‘Umang’ a spectacular three-day cultural festival concluded amidst joy and fervour in Delhi Public School, Chandigarh today. The event which began on 12th May, 2009 saw more than 500 students of the Primary Wing participating in various stage shows like Folk Dance, Western Dance, Patriotic Song, Advertisement Jingles, Prayers etc. and many more in Art Competitions like Collage Making, Mask Making and Tattoo Making. Parents were invited to watch the budding artists. Various classroom activities like Bookmark Making and Best out of Newspaper gave the opportunity for mass participation.
Prizes were given away to the winners by experts from the concerned fields.
